The 'pre-adhesive' stacks DO work good for embossing! Obviously the bigger impressions work so the paper doesnt 'stick' into the nooks and crannies...but try it...it works!!
Megan Ann, I would be interested in the matstack. I teach scrapbooking classes to some elderly ladies that are on fixed incomes and am always looking for ways to help with their supplies. Just let me know if they are still available.
I pulled one sheet from each DCWV Cardstock Matstack I had (3 total) to show what colors I can emboss in easily. I also figured if no one wants anything embossed in the color--after I am done I can pull one sheet of each color that remains so I could use them as a reference so I know what colors I have in the 4 1/2x 6 1/2 matstacks, b/c right now I never use them... I had to step VERY carefully over piles of stuff to get to the drawer where they are kept!
I listed one of the Matstacks below just so you know what I am talking about. These are not Adhesive, but I have the adhesive ones if someone wants them--i'm not sure how well the adhesive ones would emboss.
