The lastest challenge is out today for Once Upon a Sketch. This is my take on Nadia's fabulous sketch.
It's a great challenge if you want wonderful sketches and get back to some journaling on your layout.

The journalling criteria is to complete the sentence "A Perfect Day is..."

At first I thought how can you possibly capture a perfect day? Then I thought it really is all about those little things that touch our senses and make the day stand still. if only for a moment.
Here's my journaling.
How do you capture a perfect day?
It's the feel of the warm sun against your face.
The sound of a child's laughter ringing in the air.
The taste of hot baked bread fresh from the oven
The soft, sweet smell of a new born baby sleeping in your arms.
The sight of a glowing, red sunset, lighting the night sky.
And knowing you are loved.

I love this pic. It's one I took of my dd spontaneously dancing and enjoying the sun, on a cool day.'
The flowers are all handmade. Some by my dear friend Paulien and the rest are mine.
