POC rehearsal that we stumbled upon on our way to PCC.
Oops - it should read Queen Anne's Revenge - I have since changed it, but I am not rescanning the LO to post.
Journaling: We discovered a pirate ship in Heeia Kea Small Boat Harbor on our way to the Polynesian Cultural Center. We thought the ship was the Black Pearl, however the ship in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie subtitled On Stranger Tides, features the pirate Blackbeard and his ship, Queen Anne's Revenge.The ship was in Kanehoe Bay and they were rehearshing a scene the day we drove by.With Hawaii's starkly beautiful mountains as a backdrop, the bay is a sheltered area with magnificent views of the Ko‘olau Mountain Range on the windward (eastern) side of the island of Oahu.Only a slight turn of the camera lens puts the ship at sea, with an unimpeded view of the Pacific Ocean.In this installment of the series, Captain Jack Sparrow is searching for the Fountain of Youth. Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn't know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past, and he's not sure if it's love--or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him.ng reads:
