Hello, Dollscrap! What an amazing page! I love it!!!. I was wondering if you would allow me to use this image in an article I am writing about scrapbook styles. This would be an example of heritage style.
Do you have a blog so I can put a link for the people to go and see more about your work? The article will be posted in a brazilian blog called Scrap entre Amigas (http://scrapentreamigasblog.blogspot.com.br) in july.
Thank you. I will wait for your permission. My e-mail is [email protected]
I love how the color of the BG solid seems to light the photo. Such beautiful details you have added (the church rail, the lace, the stamping on the TT tile: they all add up to a fitting presentation of the photo.
Wow!! that portrait is outstanding.. You did a totally awesome job with scraping it!!! Love the flowers.. love the pictures.. gee I just love it.. Very nice job!!! Most diffinetly into my fav.
WOW!!! What an amazing photo!! You are so lucky to have such wonderful photos of your family! You did such a beautiful job with the layout too, it so perfectly compliments that amazing photo!! to the favs! love it!!
Wow that photo is gorgeous! I love weddings photos from this era, the elaborate trimming from the dress to the bouquet, they were so full! Everything was about the details. This page is stunning! The lace is sooooo perfect on here and I love what you did to the TT circle tile, subtle and beautiful! This is a masterpiece!
Wow....I don't even know where to begin with this! It's that gorgeous! You have done such a fabulous job with the photo and the scrapping of the photo! Absolutely stunning and this is one of my all time favorite layouts!
My husband's paternal grandmother. I love this photo. She was 17. In Feb last year I scrapped the photo of her and dh's grandfather on their wedding day.. heres the link..it's a great pic too...so blessed to have these beautiful old photos. http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/13236/view/2630969/-1/160/3.html The original photo was too large and badly smudged so I copied it, reduced it and played around with the bg til all the smudges were gone (as well as the background lol). Thanks to my friend Chez for the DA railing that I tried to make look like wrought iron and wood...kinda like the railing in a church. Prima flowers and stamp..Basic Grey pps..ZVA pearls. Lace from my local fabric store. The round chipboard thingy which I inked and stamped and spritzed with smooch vanilla shimmer (it does shimmer irl) is by Technique Tuesday. Letters and numbers from old stash, painted black with copics.
