I ran in my first big (I mean, BIG) group race in April 2011. It is the Crazylegs 5-mile race in Madison, WI, and 30,000 participated this year.
Journaling reads:
"We made our legs crazy at the 30th annual Crazylegs Classic race in Madison, WI, on April 30, 2011! Benefiting the UW-Madison athletic dept., the 5-mile course took 30,000 runners from the State Capitol, then through the campus, then to the grand finish at the 50-yard line inside the Badgers football stadium. I really enjoyed the run - so many people, so many new sights, so much energy, so fun! I have already marked my calendar for Crazylegs in 2012!"
