Recently I got a couple of yards of the lovely sheer crimson lace used here and simply had to put it to work right away (crimson being one of my favourite colours), so I whipped up this card (haven't quite decided who I'm sending it to, but I have two different people in mind, so it'll be going out soon).
I had the beach on my mind as I was creating it, so I went with an ivory cardstock and dusty brown ink to telegraph a sense of the sand. The dimensional butterflies (which are from Dollarama up here in Canada) and striped paper are summery, fun touches that tie into that same beachy feeling.
