I thought I had already left you a comment, but I guess I didn't!! LOL I asolutely love this, Shawn! All I can say is WOWZA!! LOL Love all the little touches, all the flowers, the buttons, the stitching, the letters that spell "dip"!! I just love everything about it!! TERRIFIC JOB!!! Going into my faves for sure!
OMG OMG!! Shawn girl, you are my idol...LOL I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LO!!! I am soooo gonna scraplift this and it is getting shot right into my favorites!!
As always you totally out do your last layout! I really love all the flowers and it inspires me to use more of them. I want to know where the pointed ones are from? They are going to a must buy!
Love all the colors and the way you put this together- like Kris this is going in my fav's!
I absolutely LOVE this! Trademark Shawn! Love all the dimensions and the colors are perfect! Love the use of green and orange! Great LO... into my favs with the rest of yours!
This is so cool-I love all the dimension, especially around the picture.
The journaling is wonderful too, makes the reader feel like they were there.
Saved into my favorites!
This was for a challenge to use candy or sweet pics. I decided to run with teh candy theme by making this one pure eye candy (to me anyway lol- all my fave embellies on one page :))
Journaling: What a fun day we had waiting for Harry Potter to start! We just missed the 3:00 show (sold out as we arrived!) so we bought tickets to the next showing. We had well over an hour left before it started so we decided to go next door to Sam’s Fun City. We played a few fun games- you and daddy played basketball and shot the water gun then I played skeeball with you! After we ran out of money we traded in our tickets. You chose candy (of course!) and you happily munched away as we walked around the park. I was amazed at how big the park was and at how many different rides they had. I promised you we would definitely come back when we had more time! I actually managed a few pics of you and I in front of the carousel- definitely a rare occasion! My hopes of having a portrait quality mother-son bonding moment captured on film was foiled by your intense desire to continue holding and eating your fun dip! While standing close to one of the height requirement signs I tried again to get a pic of you- alone! But you just wouldn’t give up your Fun Dip!! But I don’t mind. I love all the pictures of you from this day: green-mouthed, clutching the Fun-Dip pouch tightly in your left hand, your little white dipper getting shorter and shorter. But we understood your death-grip only too well: Fun-Dip was mommy and daddy’s favorite when we were kids too!!! (Font= Rockford)
