I made this scrapbook layout for my friend's first grand baby that was born in May. I gave this to her in April at her shower. As soon as I saw the bedding her daughter had picked out, I knew I had to create a card to match. I intended to make a card and a scrapbook layout but had too much time invested in the animals on the card so decided to incorporate the card into the layout. I have never done that before. The layout was framed in a 12x12 scrapbook frame and given as the gift with money in the card. Note t self: Don't take your pictures of your layouts/projects on your messy craft desk! I used a sketch from sketchabilities (it's one between 12 and 13) from: http://www.sketchabilities.blogspot.com/ I paper pieced all the animals, flowers, and tree. The monkey, tree, and elephant are stamps and the other animals are from www.coloring.ws and sized to what I needed. The flowers were a punch and then an SU stamp stamped and cut out so it would be smaller than the big stamp. Since the second flower was smaller, the prima didn't fit so I used a pink flower brad on it.
