My dgd sewing her first project, a pillowcase, and then sleeping on it. For August Round Robin - group #4, week #4 with the twist - all the title letters are painted as are the sewing embellies and the edges of the bg paper, and a light swash under the turned back edges where the journaling tag is. Also for Aug. Technique challenge. Couldn't have used any other pp than BGs Sweet Threads lol. Instead of filling the opening with flowers I used that as a spot for my journaling tag. (journaling: Megan has been wanting to learn to sew. For her first project she made a pillowcase. She was so proud of her accomplishment and slept the night away on it.)
