Journaling says: Like a lot of things, I didn't appreciate my grandmothers until later in life. Growing up, I was lucky because I lived in the same town as my grandparents, but I didn't know I was lucky. I always wondered what the big deal was about getting to go to Grandma's house. But I finally realized what the big deal was after having kids. Through their eyes, I see now that grandmothers always have a hug and a smile, yummy treats and love you no matter what. I cherish my grandmas because of what they did for me and because of who they are now.
