A Fish Story

Photos from July '09. The journaling is a train wreck of pronouns, but I composed as I went without proofreading. LOL. It says:
Today Mike, Scott, & I fished Forest. It was my 1st experience with bluegill, and they are fun little fish to catch. At one point, this smallie kept taking the bluegill I was reeling in into its mouth, and I would pull it out over & over again but couldn't snag it with the tiny hook. They handed me another rod rigged with a bigger hook, and I was able to catch it after all.
That'll teach me to write without thinking about it first and while under the influence of Nyquil :)

This is for the September Monthly Sketch Challenge Week 1, and I did the twist to doodle. I doodled a border along the top and bottom of the LO. I also doodled the swirls in pencil, trying to copy from some Zva pearl flourishes, and then I went over the pencil with Platinum Stickles.
