How wonderful to have these heritage photos..love what is in the background of some of these..look at that old chair for instance. You scrapped this beautifully...love the stitching and the loevely pps.
Wow, that's awesome that you those really old photos and all those wonderful details to go with them! I love your page, I especially love the colors you used and the stitching.
this is such a beautiful heritage page!! how lucky are you that you got to hold those photos for safe keeping!! I cannot imagine the fun you are going to have!
This is for the Sept Heritage Challenge, had to repost as I forgot the "clock twist!" Made me sad to delete the other pic as I had some nice comments on it too! Ugh, I'll get this site wired yet!
I was so thrilled when my dad, Don Spencer, came to visit one year and asked me to keep his 1800's photographs for safe keeping! They have been handed down through my Great Grandfather, Ira Spencer. My great grandmother wrote on the back of the original jackets who they were and any details she knew. In this case, I've got this young Fairchild's age and weight too! The original picture is in wonderful shape and I was nervous just putting it in the scanner so I could make a play copy to scrap! My scrap doesn't do this beautiful picture justice, but I'm still thrilled to have it! Thanks for looking! ~ Dawna
