When I was about 4 in 1964 I was in the audience for thee Uncle Al. Show in Cincinnati. I loved to watch Uncle Al and Captain Wendy. I journaled about how life was in the 1960s as well. Candy was a penny. TV went off the air about 11 pm until 6 am and most people only got 3 or 4 stations- we were lucky - we got about 8 as we lived high on a hill and had a rotating antenna. Cats could run free outside without neighbors taking them to the pound. I couldn't wear slacks to school until second grade and then only pant suits. Most stores were closed on Sunday. I made hidden journaling flaps using page protectors. Thanks for looking.
