For the MSC 25 Day Sketch Extravaganza!
This is my take on DAY 1 & it's the final LO for my buddy Carlos' album that I've been working on for him while he is over in Afghanistan fighting for us! I think he just got home though actually, so I can't wait to get in touch w/him & give him & his mom the book I made w/his photos! : ]
The pp is all Basic Grey w/a touch of Jenni Bowlin going down the center & the alpha's are sooooo old, but I was thrilled to FINALLY use them on a LO after having them in my stash for so many years! The metal washers are Making Memories & probably super old too but thought they were perfect accents for this page & the message I wanted to display. I doodled dots around the big circle & I inked the photos to grunge them up a bit. I also scissor distressed the edges of the background pp, the polka-dot strip, & the circle accents I cut-out.
