I actually finished this last Friday, but am just getting around to uploading it. This is for the Scraps of Darkness 'Envy' Kit Sketch challenge as well as for the September Lyrics challenge using a Taylor Swift song. I must admit, most of the lyrics to her songs don't apply to me, but I loved the titles for many of the songs! This particular photo was originally going to be using last months lyrics, which were Madonna and I'd planned to use 'This Use to be My Playground.' Because I missed that one by like two days, I decided 'Enchanted' worked well too!

The photo is of my parents' backyard in WA. It only shows about a third of the yard, but there's a lot more to it! I used to spend so much time playing out there as a kid. We had a two-story playhouse my dad built us (sat where that patch of green lawn is now in the middle of the page) and we had lots more trees and bushes and no pond. I remember imagining that our yard was enchanted with fairies like Peter Pan and Neverland. The yard looks totally different from what it was then, but the way my parents have landscaped the yard it could still be a fairy's paradise! I've called it 'my eden' for years now and they just keep making it better! They grow all kinds of vegetables in the greenhouse and raspberries, blueberries and blackberries around the yard, clematis grow like crazy around the trellis and Dad even put in a small grapevine field back by the storage shed. He actually now has a double-track train set complete with covered bridge he made (a la New England-style) and raised tracks!

Pretty much everything here was from the gorgeous August SOD kit except for the Prima roses and the olive green stems are from Joann's. I water-distressed every one of the papers and used crackle medium on the brown circle. Oh, and the green ppr second from the back is from my Storyteller's kit from July. TFL!
