After the volcano, the pilot flew us to the shore where the lava empties out via underground tubes. On the way back to the airport, we passed our ship. It's pretty from the sky isn't it? That night, our ship's captain gave us a great show by taking us past the volcano. This was completely different view from what we saw during the day. In the daytime, you can see the mountain and the smoke, but not the red lava so much. At night, you can't see the mountain because it blends into the darkness of night, but that same darkness makes the glowing lava much easier too see. Tfl.
