Wow this is awesome! I've been writing a bio page for each of my vintage pictures to capture what I know about them. It never occured to me to make a Journaling PAGE for each LO! You're an inspiration!
My great-grandparents more or less eloped in 1896 Kansas. There is no wedding picture. This page includes a transcription of the newspaper announcement of their marriage, a tiny map that includes the town they were from - Little River- and the "big city" of Lyons, KS, where they went marry. There is also a story written by my cousin about them, including that Amanda's father (AJ Ashcraft in some of my other lo's) did not want them to marry, but my great-grandfather, George, showed up in a buggy with white horses to whisk her off. This is a companion page to "1907 Kansas" which pictures their first five children. Oh, yeah, I used my Provo Craft Cricut "Heritage" cartrdige for the horse and buggy.
