beautiful... like Tammy I had to double check to see if you were Canadian... that is an old dollar bill even for dollars bills - we have the crazy looney now : love the blocking effect that you did
so this made me go back to your profile to see where you are from - and I was shocked to see Georgia! I was also surprised to see a $1 bill on your layout as they are very rare here now - we have $1 coins. I do love all the wonderful Canadian things you put on your grid! Excellent.
I have so many photos of BG that I decided to reduce the # of additional LO's by scanning the photos and printing as wallet sizes. For this I used a 12x12 that is embossed with maple leaves and a Canada piece that I cut out Canada dollar bill and a Mounted Police, etc. (That 12x12 is actually on Montreal so I didn't want to use the entire piece). I thought it would be easier to use the photos without cutting them apart. I printed out words for the journalism on a 8x10 cardstock about the shade of cardboard and cut into strips to hide the white boarder. As a frame I used corrugated cardboard strip that I made. I published how I did this under tips, but I like the dimension this adds: http://www.scrapbook.com/tips/doc/45299/51.html
