Although this palace started off as a hunting lodge, it became King Ludwig's favorite home (not sure what was wrong with the other two castles).The palace is indeed beautiful, as are the surrounding gorgeous baroque gardens & although we took so many photos I could have filled a whole album, I managed to restrain myself to a double layout.
Apparently Ludwig was quite shy. The dining room possesses a table that can be lowered into the kitchen that is located below. The servants in the kitchen could then stock the table and have it raised back up into the dining room. This was all done so that Ludwig would not have to see his servants.
Used a CK sketch & flowers are Prima & Petaloo. Dusty Attic chippie which I painted with texture paint & then went over it with gold.
