Hello friends! This is a layout I created for the "Stick with Helmar in September" Challenge. I loooove this awesome sketch! I was inspired by the lovely Jenny Burns to create a grungy layout using Dusty Attic Cogs.

This is a 'redo' layout of one of my very first layouts. I don't know why lately I have had the urge to redo past layouts. Maybe because I look back at them and think 'ewwwwww'. LOL. I did change the photos and tweak the title a little.

I remember being age 20 and feeling a little lost. I didn't know what I wanted to do with myself, and I was at a point in my life where I was comfortable but I wasn't moving forward. In a way, I was unhappy, and I needed something to fill that hole in my life. Not long after, I discovered I was pregnant with my first child, my son. I was excited and I didn't feel that emptiness any longer.
As my son grows, he always thinks of me as his hero. "Mommy can do (and fix) anything." Little does he know that he is my hero. That is why I chose this quote.
(In the photos he was only a few months old. He is nine now.)

For close-ups, feel free to visit my blog. TFL! xoxo
