Darn, and I was just at Micheal's too. I bought the Electronic cartridges storage case. Now I must go back and buy some of these boxes. I have a few "Stampin' Up" sets but I HATE the plastic cases they come in. Once they crack or break a hinge they become really sharp! AWESOME way of storing the wooden stamps. Photocopying the stamps, I never thought of that, time to get the scanner part of my printer working overtime!
I may be that person. I have a photo of this out on my gallery and have responded to several people about it. You had commented about going to try it. I sort all my wooden stamps by category, even if they come in sets. I label the individual boxes with the category name, then number the large cases (I now have 10). I keep an index on top showing the case number and listing the categories that are stored in that case. Sure makes it easy to find them. I love wooden stamps and always buy them over clear ones.
I also did my stamps this way after I contacted the nice lady that had hers this way. She told me to get the Iris Photo Storage at Michaels and I did with a coupon and it is great.
Where did you get your cases? I have the clear cases from Stampin Up, but would love to put my other extra stamps in cases like that. Love your borrowed idea!
I wish I could say I can up with this idea...but it was found on scrapbook.com from one of these wonderful ladies!!!! This is how I store my loose wood mount stamps, separated into photo cases by catagories. I need to label all of the photo cases in here, I ran out of label tape, but you get the idea!
