Oh my goodness! What a gorgeous layout and a lovely tribute to your baby, Emma. You did a great job. I know - it's so hard to lose a pet. It was hard to do a layout of my cat, Salem, after I lost her. Be proud - that page is stunning!
What a beautiful way to memorialize your sweet Emma! I'm so very sorry to learn of your loss! I know what it's like to lose a beloved pet.......we've had to put 4 down in the past and now we have two that I hope will be with us for many, many years to come! We never let our cats outside, and even brought in an outside cat when she had her second litter of kittens on our patio! She was a cat from across the road, along with many other barn cats, so my dh decided no more kittens for her, so we had her operated on and kept her inside for several years before having to put her down. My heart goes out to you!
Well, it has now been 2 months since I lost my dear sweet kitty Emma, and I'm just starting to get used to the fact that she's gone. As a part of my healing process, I made this layout to frame and hang on my wall. There is hidden journaling under the picture. Originally I wanted to attach the picture using a Graphic 45 hinge, but of course when I wanted it I couldn't find it in stock anywhere! So I settled for the Zutter hangers. In the Timmy vial I have a clip of my Emma's fur.
Thanks for looking, and thank you all so much for all your sweet thoughts regarding my loss. It has been such a tough time for me as I had my kitty since I was 10 years old (such a long time!), and it's great knowing I have a community of sweet people who understand what it is to lose a furbaby!
