I must really like your style!! I came into the gallery to look for an idea for a Halloween Lo....low and behold I found yours, clicked on it and see that I am the only one who ever commented on it. I really like the block style as I am making a lo for a great niece's little guy and she likes clean cut looks. Thanks for the inspiration.
Take on a totally transforming look! Turn to the ghoulish grunge and vintage fun of Tim Holtz Alterations products for Fall & Halloween. They deliver all the edge and distress that any soul can appreciate. Create a scrapbook page base out of cardstock. Cut a large rectangle from polka dot patterned paper and adhere to the page. Crop a photo to size, mat on cardstock and attach to the page. Emboss a piece of orange cardstock using the Halloween Print embossing folder. Buff with a sanding block to highlight the raised designs and attach to the scrapbook page. Emboss a piece of black cardstock using the Poison embossing folder. Run a brayer through white paint and roll over the embossed paper to highlight the raised design and attach to the scrapbook page. If desired embellish the page with black stitching to give definition to the page elements. Cut a length of rick-rack and black lace and attach to the page. Also add threaded buttons. Die-cut a circle from yellow cardstock and attach to the page. Die-cut a candelabra (from the Candlelight Fright die) out of cardstock. Trim away excess pieces and layer colors to assemble; embellish with glitter and attach to the page using foam dots. Embellish with artificial cobwebs. Die-cut the numbers “31” (from the Gothic Boo die) out of cardstock and attach to the page.
