you are lucky you managed to get that great shot of you & your hubby out the front of it before your camera died! it's such a massive place it's hard to capture the sheer enormity of it on camera.

My husband & i spent a day in Versailles... how was it that nobody ever impressed on us how HUGE this place is?!! Unfortunately, my camera died on me (!!!!) and these were some of the few images that I managed to capture before it went out. Anyway, without the encumbrance of having to shoot perfect images, we strutted around pretending to be royalty for the day, enjoying "our" massive estate. ;)
