What a SUPER, FABULOUS lo! He was a beautiful Boo. People are so cruel and I'm glad he found a safe happy place to spend his life. Wonderful tribute. Fav!
great LO. very creative. love your story about booboo. i have rescued a kitten as well. 4 weeks old and abandoned outside the house one night. his name is oreo.
I just LOVE all the little details you have on this lo, and what a BEAUTIFUL cat! I don't understand how ANYONE can hurt ANY animal in any way! They have a heart; and feel pain just like human's and I just hope that those people that purposely hurt animals will get it back two fold when they die!
OMG this is stunning, Beautiful cat, and story, I have 2 dogs, both rescues, so I know what you mean about lasting effects. I totally love your work, and thanks for stopping by my gallery also, much appreciated. M
I adore this one as well. FAV too - the colors are so impressive and rich and the words over Boo's head are priceless as it sounds like he was as well. Once agin the feathers rock it here as do the sprays and the black cat.
Oh my what a gorgeous cat any time spent with him would have been worthwhile and I'm so glad he had you to give him a good home.Wonderful lo and the feathers are beautiful, well done.
Boo is bootiful indded. Good cats are always missed. and I should know! And your LO is stunning beyond spoken words - or at least i have not learned the words that describe such cool beauty and clever art. your inking is amazing FAVVVVV
This is my persian I rescued back in 1999. He was with me 11 years before he went to kitty heaven 2 years ago. He had been abused & had lasting affects of those injuries, so I tried to give him a safe home & he turned out to be a wonderful companion. His name was originally Blake, but I used a favorite term of affection...Boo. It eventually turned into Boo Boo, & then my son renamed him "BooBoo", with the accent on the 2nd Boo...silly, I know. Anyways, that's where the title comes from.
I used a DCWV Four Seasons paper that I totally altered from the original. Lots of ink. I also used some Recollections & old K and Company. In order to get the orange feathers from a local store, I had to buy a big bag of a bunch of colors so I've got a lot of feathers I need to use.
I thank you for stopping to see my l/o, & totally appreciate comments. Happy Halloween!
