When the cold rolls in and the mood is merry, it's time for a truly unique combination of creativity. Feel the holiday season with an amazing embossing collection from Sizzix that perfectly coordinates with stamp designs from Hero Arts.
Cut a piece of cardstock to size and fold to form card base. Add the "Holly Background" cling stamp to a stamp mount. Apply ink to the stamp and stamp onto cardstock. Let dry. Align the corresponding embossing folder over the stamped image and roll through the machine to emboss. Trim to size, embellish with a paint pen and attach to the card base. Add the "Christmas Tree" cling stamp (from the Holiday Cheer Set) to a stamp mount. Apply ink to the stamp and stamp onto cardstock. Let dry. Align the corresponding Framelits die over the stamped images and die-cut. For ease of use, we recommend using a sticky note to hold the Framelits die in place while the shape is being cut. Embellish the Christmas Trees with glitter and adhere to the card using foam dots. Add the "Phrase, Holiday Cheer" cling stamp (from the Holiday Cheer Set) to a stamp mount. Apply ink to the stamp and stamp onto cardstock. Let dry. Align a Scallop Oval Framelits die (from the Message Frames set) over the stamped image and die-cut. Ink edges of the Scallop Oval, embellish with jewels and adhere to the card using foam dots. Adhere a string underneath the Christmas to "hang" the Holiday Cheer banner. Emboss a small piece of patterned paper using the Holly Background embossing folder. Using the embossed edges as a guide, cut out two Holly leaves, embellish with glitter and attach the shapes onto the card front. Finish by embellishing with a ribbon bow and button.
