Well, my cousin Ron in Texas was going through some boxes and found a bunch of his Mom's photo albums he forgot that he had. His mother was my grandmother's younger sister. He sent me a ton of digital versions of family photos late last week, and so my heritage album is a never-ending project!! Here is a picture of my grandmother that I had NEVER SEEN, and I cannot tell you how thrilled I was!! She is here with her first husband and first two children at tender age of 19. Photo taken late 1929 or early 1930. I love this precious photo! Alas, there is a dark side to this story as shortly after this photo was taken, Grandma took off with another man (my grandfather), and voila, my mother was born. Hey, family history isn't always pretty, but what ya gonna do? I will say this, to her credit, my grandmother never ever said an unkind word about her first husband.
I'm trying to break out of my comfort zone with color combinations.
