Not sure why I've never decorated the front step before - maybe because it couldn't be accessed (no path) and that we just sort of forgot it was there? So today I decided to decorate. Took a planter, place in it's spot, filled with pea gravel, added two branches still with leaves. Added a broken piece of concrete for height at the bottom, place my JOY "rock" from my boys on it. (it's hollow, so I know it's not a rock, says JOY on it) Think I might find some pumpkins to add to the planter and around the base. Saw some neat ideas on a blog somewhere in blog-land that I would love to try.
