This is for the no pic challenge and the BOM challenge. Its journaling of one of my fav moments with my mother. She is passed now but at times I still smell her perfume and know shes with me. The background paper is metallic so its kinda glowing a bit. the colors are richer IRL. Thanks for looking!
journaling says-As a child of 3 the first memory I can recall was one evening I had with my mother. She was going out to a party with my dad and she was in our tiny bathroom putting her makeup on. I remember walking in the bathroom and seeing the dress. It was so beautiful. It was a lavender taffeta dress with an overlay of this sheer chiffon that had these blue and green swirls on it. I remember standing next to her and getting up under the overlay and watching her put on her lipstick through a maze of blue and green swirls. She laughed as I stood under her dress and giggled. When she moved the soft chiffon would move and create a magical place where I could see my mother's face reflected in the mirror and her beautiful smile as she watched me watching her. I will never forget that moment, the scent of her and her perfume, her blue twinkling eyes, the soft bathroom light and the joy we shared for a slice of time.
