Friday was another leisurely morning. Raquel, Kara, Robert, Dustin, and I left the house around 11am for Rehoboth Beach. It took about an hour to drive to. Once we entered Rehoboth, we stopped at a kitchen store for Raquel and Kara, and then stopped at Tangers Outlet Mall. Tangers was split by the highway, so we shopped on the right side as we headed into town, then would stop on the other heading out of town. After shopping, we finally arrived at the beach. The parking was outrageous and after circling looking for free parking we finally found a spot we had to pay for. Parking was 25 cents per 10 minutes with a maximum of 3 hours. We were only parked a block from the beach and boardwalk. When we got on the boardwalk, Dustin immediately found a sports shop which had more than enough stuff he wanted from the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Baltimore Orioles. We then got some homemade French fries while sitting on the boardwalk. After finishing our fries, we walked the beach. We were looking for beach glass but there wasn't any. The water was pretty cold, according to the white board 70 degrees, and the waves were really high from the recent hurricanes and storms. It was great to put our feet in the sand and to our surprise the sun came out while we were there. After walking the beach, we walked the touristy part of town “Main Street”. As we headed back to Dover, we stopped at the other half of the outlets. There was a Lane Bryant Outlet so I browsed around. I have been looking for a cute simple dress and was able to find one. Great shopping finds were found! When we got home we made dinner. Kara made her famous and delicious Macaroni and Cheese, while the guys' barbequed chicken, steaks, and sweet corn. It was all extremely tasty. After dinner, Kara, Raquel, and I played in the scrap-room with all our scrapping tools, teaching each other new techniques. We had a great time!!
