Cassie, thanks for the AWESOME challenge to handstitch :) I LOVED doing this page :) I have never stitched on paper before.. and haven't stitched ANYTHING by hand in YEARS! This was a WONDERFUL challenge b/c made me fall in love with my needle again!

Journaling is hidden under the flowers... they all hinge on a brad. I wanted Adele to be able to discover little things about herself.

Under green flower: "A" sticker mono; "almost nine months; 18.5 lbs

Under pink: her full name and the date of pics

Under Blue: "Playing in the grass after your cousin Laci's party at Chuck ~E~ CHeese. In a manner of minutes you managed to eat: rocks, leaves, grass, rocks again... and repeat! I Love how you are right now~ so fun and brave! (heart) mom

Old= Circle Punches (and paper piecing the flowers by cutting circles in half)
new= Junkitz long brads (flowerful), BG pp
borrowed= washers and yellow drywall tape
blue= thread, brad and BG pp

Stitches: too many to count lol, all by hand
