I've been wanting to scrap this picture for a while now. I'm hoping I did it justice and expressed my feelings okay. This is my little cousin Tina. We have the most unique bond. I'm still not sure what I think of it yet, but let me know what you all think.

Journaling: We’re 12 years apart, but before she was even born, I knew we would have a special bond. I even picked out her name: Tina. My sister? At heart, yes, but we’re cousins by birth. One of the first words that she learned, along with “mama” and “baba” (daddy in Chinese), was “dai-dai” (big sister in Chinese). When she was a baby, a lot of times comfort would only come from her “dai-dai.” As we both grew older, and I had to move away to Salt Lake City for school, our bond only grew stronger. I remember the times when Tina was only 6 years old and we would call each other on the phone and talk for hours. My roommate was amazed that a 6-year-old and an 18-year-old could have so much to say to each other. Now that I live in North Carolina, nothing has changed. We still write letters and talk to each other weekly. People tell us all the time that we are so much a like. We are both really smart and enjoy the same hobbies such as playing the violin and reading Harry Potter. Our bond is very special, and it’s something that even I don’t understand, but I’m grateful that we have it. I know it will continue and I hope that in the future, as I have kids, that bond will continue with Tina and my children.
