1 of 24 birdhouses that my mom and I spray painted and then decorated for my cousin's baby shower. (This picture does not do it justice!) The baby's nursery and bedding has cute little birds on it and the colors are light pink, pink, white, and chocolate brown. We thought that these would serve as decorations for the baby shower, but she could put them in the baby's room. A double whammie!

Because they would be going into the baby's room we wanted them to be cute, but also simple. We didn't want to go completely over the top on them.

This particular birdhouse is small and cute. I spray painted it pink and then used light pink acrylic paint and carefully painted along the edges of the bottom, roof, and the chimney. Once dry I added clear sparkly stickles to all places I painted light pink. I took one of my favorite stamps (the awesome butterfly you see!), put black ink on it, sprinkled a small amount of loose glitter on it and then stamped it to the top. This ended up being one of my favorites. I might steal it!! She can't fit 24 bird houses in the nursery, right?! haha

*I know this picture isn't great. The lighting is terrible. I had to use my cell phone camera because there's something wrong with my camera. :o( *
