A scraplift from a page that had baby hands and similar journaling. I just took it a step further with my husband's hand and grandson's hand and slightly revised and added to the journaling. Journaling reads: These hands work hard and have the bumps and bruises to show for it. These hands have wiped away tears and held tiny babies and made motors run again. These hands have seen tough times and good times and have held mine on days that the world was crashing in. These hands are mine to hold until I am no longer here.
These tiny hands are precious and soft. Soon they’ll lose the baby fat and get dirt under their nails and their own bumps and bruises just because they are boys hands. Someday these hands will make a difference to someone’s world. They may build a home or paint a picture or heal the sick. They will hold the hand of someone special on days that the world is crashing in. Someday these hands will hold a grandchild of their own. But for now these tiny precious hands hold mine.
