Give a Cheer
I absolutely love the Jack & Jill Collection and the casual sweetness it has. I made this card for a dear friend who needed reminding that she is not only beautiful on the outside, but more importantly, she is beautiful because of her incredible inside. She is someone who truly inspires me.
I used the Jack & Jill boy stamp, used ink & a water pen (S.Up) to give him the water-color effect (using S.Up Kiwi Kiss ink, T.Holtz Tumbled Glass ink for jeans, T.Holtz Barn Door ink for shoes & Antique Linen ink for hair. Just tore and inked almost all papers. The chipboard flower I cut out of thin chipboard using a template, painted it with copper acrylic paint, let it dry, then stamped a swirl on it in walnut distress ink, then stamped the "Beautiful" with Vintage Photo distress ink. The tiny sticker letters are some of my favorite. I hand-wrote the scripture w/brown pen on cream cardstock, then cut it out imperfectly, inked the edges w/vintage photo, then just adhered them. The brown and cream ribbon is from my stash. The hemp was tied through the blue button and adhered w/a pop dot. TFL!
