I can see why they call it elephant head. Looks to me like a lying elephant, head rested on the ground. I see an eye and a big floppy ear.

Border Patrol check point

Each road that leads to or near Mexico must have border patrol. Not sure how much I can say without getting into politics except it isnt necessily like you read or hear in the news. Two busses are parked near here and all day long they fill up with illegals who walked around the wall (easy to do) The Patrol catches them and sends them back. Sometimes catching the same ones over and over. Only drugs and dealers are treated to "a longer stay". That bit of bright mountain in the center is "Elephant's Head", it was very hazy so not a great photo.
