I used a sketch from Split Coast Stampers, SC355. I made a Cricut CUT file if you want it's immediately available for download at http://cricut-scrapbooklayouts-cards-frames.blogspot.com/2011/11/joy-to-world-vintage-cricut-christmas.html
First, I covered a white base card with paper from Recollections (see supply list below). Then I cut a small portion from another paper in that pack. It's the red dottted paper on the bottom of the card. Then I cut a section of the light blue paper and placed it above it. Then I was ready to add the Anna Griffin christmas border on top of all those papers. Next, I added a sticker to a Deckled Edge die cut from Spellbinder. I stenciled in Peeled Paint Distress ink. Before attaching it I added foam sheets to raise it a little, off the card. The last embellishment was the chipboard bow. There are a few steps to that one. First, I painted it white with Acrylic paint. I do that because if you don't then no matter what color you put on it, it will be dark. Even the lightest of color. Second, I embossed it in my Cuttlebug Bubbles Embossing Folder. Third, I covered it with Fired Brick Distress ink. Last, I immediately added clear embossing powder and heated it up. I do that because the white acrylic paint acts as a resist and the ink would fade away, completely. This keeps it there. It would fade because Distress inks are water based and will resist when on Acrylic Paint.
