Give a Cheer
Our wedding prep seemed so hectic (aren't they all?!) mainly because we were too slack to begin with. LOL! I didn't get around to thinking about a Save The Date card until my DH offered to design one... but no surprises, he never got around to doing it! So i designed (ok copied more like it!) this one in literally 1 day, and we emailed it out. I'm actually rather fond of this card design!!
For this layout, i held the card in place using only the chippies as i wanted to be able to take it out from time to time to look at the contents at the back.
The back of the card read "Linda & Quentin met through a series of pre-destined events in MArch 2009. On the perfect night of 10 Oct '10, Quentin finally popped the question, and Linda said yes! What about you?"
I just received a stash of DA chippies from Vicky's Etsy, and had a lot of fun painting them! Applied some Pink Paislee stamps on the top left hand corner of the page to balance things out somewhat.
