i took a series of really fun pics of sam in his halloween costume, and had to pull my favorite one to get it onto a page. the title was used as a promo for the movie version of where the wild things are, so it fits perfectly. =)
i got MESSY for this one. the background is layered paper, then i painted over it with pale aqua paint - i used a wet paint brush and a teeeeeeeeeeeeny bit of paint, trying to keep it as thin as possible so the patterns would still show through. then i misted over that with mister huey's heirloom blue and the studio calico intertwined circles mask.
i absolutely adore the stamp in BROOKLYN FLEA, and had to use it here. the fabric heart border is about the same color as jbs malted milk ink - love the look of them layered together. i also used product from the add-ons SNOW CONE & PRINTER'S DRAWER here.
