I get to meet Delores Kendrick tomorrow! (yes I misspelled on the page, I fixed it!) Delores Kendrick is the Poet Laureate for D.C. and my writing teacher was able to get her to come and speak to us, and have her perform some of her work :-D I'm so super-excited about meeting her! I didn't have enough time to order the book I want of hers before tomorrow... so I made a scrapbook page for her to sign :-D I'll post a pic after tomorrow... as well as my second page of her with pics that I take :)
