I truly have been blessed to have made friends with some very wonderful people on this fantastic website and there are a couple gals that have found a special place in my heart. I wanted to give them something to show how much they mean to me and how much I truly appreciate their friendship. The only way I thought to do that was to make a calendar -- mostly of pictures from the upper Midwest. One of these terrific friends use to live here in MN. These images are of the calendar I made for her. She's now living in North Carolina, so I thought I would send her a bit of place she use to call home. This is January's image. The photo is of Lake Tennyson, on a very cold day. We can see this lake from our home --- if we look through the birch trees --- on a sunny day. There are lots of snow geese sitting on this frozen pond. TFL!!!!
