Give a Cheer
I truly have been blessed to have made friends with some very wonderful people on this fantastic website and there are a couple gals that have found a special place in my heart. I wanted to give them something to show how much they mean to me and how much I truly appreciate their friendship. The only way I thought to do that was to make a calendar -- mostly of pictures from the upper Midwest. One of these terrific friends use to live here in MN. These images are of the calendar I made for her. She's now living in North Carolina, so I thought I would send her a bit of place she use to call home.
Here is June's image - one of 22 hosta plant. I was out watering them one summer day. While I water, I also inspect for any dead leaves. While rummaging through this particular plant, I saw a pair of tiny eyes staring back at me---couldn't believe finding this little tree frog tucked in among the leaves. He really blended well. I thought this was certainly a "Kodak moment" and ran to get the 35mm. Thank goodness he didn't hop and hide. It was one of those perfect shots. TFL!!!
