Give a Cheer
Instructions:
For the card:1.Stamp the lacey flower from the Love and Lace clear set with VersaMark frost ink all over the front of a Long Kraft Notecard. This adds a subtle shimmer to the card.
2.Position chipboard border embellishment on the card but don't adhere it yet. Lightly mark where the left and right sides of the embellishment are. Remove embellishment, and put on Post-It notes to cover up the left and right sides of the notecard.
3.Stamp the crosshatch border twice from the cling Borders set with gray ink, overlapping them. Since the stamp is a crosshatch pattern it's easy to overlap!
4.Adhere chipboard border embellishment -- it's a sticker, so just peel off the backing and stick!
5.Position flower and leaves but don't adhere them yet. Stamp "thanks" from the cling Special Lace set with white pigment ink. Remove flower and leaves and emboss the "thanks" with white embossing powder.
6.Adhere flower with glue dots and leaves.
7.Ink edges of the notecard with pumice and black soot Distress inks. Draw stitched border with white pen.
8.Add pearls.
For the envelope:
1.Stamp flower and vine from the Flower Star Wreath clear set with black ink.
2.Color leaves with green marker.
3.Color flower centers with white pen.
4.Ink the edges of the flap with black soot and pumice stone distress inks, then draw a stitched border with white pen.
Tip: Stamping the flap of the envelope adds a nice surprise that's sure to brighten the recipient's mailbox!
