Love this page with the great photo's. I have a grandson who is a snowboarder too, and it scares me to see pictures of him! I did not realize you and hubby were instructors. You must enjoy the winter months!
This is very cute! It's great that you can help each other learn new things to enjoy. I know you will miss your little cabin in the snow, but I hope you are both looking forward to this new chapter with the wee one on the way!
Originally for the Page Maps 35 Week 2 challenge, but I didn't get it done in time! Also for the Cricut challenge. I haven't filled in the journalling because I want my dh to do it... his handwritting is miles better than mine! ;) This is me snowboarding at Mammoth during the 2010 season. I'm a skier (by choice) and my dh is a snowboarder, but over the last couple years we've taken turns working with each other on the opposite gear. Normally it's frowned upon to teach our S/O because it tends to cause conflict, but as instructors, we are confident that the other person has the knowledge and ability to teach the other person. It's a rare quality and I love it! And my dh is a wonderful instructor! (Case in point... the larger photo, I'm demonstrating perfect snowboard form and technique! LOL!) The circle photo... yea... I rode the WHOLE run top to bottom without falling and then while I was trying to take my boot out of the binding - at the bottom of the hill - I fell over! DH made me stay there so he could get a picture...
The giant snowflake was cut on the Cricut, but I don't remember what cartridge as I cut it at a crop long time ago. Cut the circles using George, frame using Elegant Edges and little snowflakes using Winter Frolic. BTW, LOVE these EP pprs!!! TFL!
