Missing Dixie

This is Dixie. She belonged to the people across the street from my mom but they had another dog that ran her off from her food. She got so skinny, my mom started feeding her. Everyday my mom would take my daughter to the mailbox in her wagon (she was only about 9 months old) and Dixie & Bronwyn became fast friends. Eventually she followed one of my dogs, Shadow, back to my house and there she stayed...until January 2006. The people across from my mother left...and Dixie disappeared. The husband is a registered sex offender so I looked on the internet to try to find them, and my dog. He is currently listed as being in federal custody in New Mexico...we're in Alabama. My daughter is almost 5 now and she keeps asking me where Dixie is. I don't know but I feel she's still alive...somewhere...We love you and miss you Dixie...
