Oh Fran!!! What a great heartwarming photo of you & your sisters! Funny how back them the hems were above the knees then when that can back in style in the late 60's it was frowned upon..... Anyway, I love this... brings back warm memories of my siblings way back...
Beautiful lo & eye catching color combo!!!
LOVE the photo!! How cute you all are!The lo is beautiful and a fave for me. I love the beading (but I wouldn't have had your patience with it), butterflies (and how clever your fix was), and the colour choices!!!
Looooooove this photo, Fran! And you scrapped it beautifully...the lovely flourishes in the bg and the yellow pops of colour are WONDERFUL! This should be framed...it's a treasure! Fave!
The photo is adorable. The LO is absolutely fabulous!!!! Did you use the Paper Lace cart?? The print is so wonderful cut out of top of the solid. All the touches are perfect. This is really a beautiful page. I am adding to my favs. I will need to study it more later and see if I can lift a few ideas. I just love it!
Gorgeous! So cute of you and your siblings. Love the color choices. I think you were very clever on how you fixed the problems. Sometimes "goofs" and fixing them make the lo better. Great job!
Beautiful! The beading may have been hard to work with but it paid off. I think that the green on the butterflies compliments the yellow nicely. Beautiful flowers as well!
Beautiful page. Your butterfilies and roses look great. That is a great old photo of you and your sibs. I have a similar one of my sibs and I that I love.
Oh my this is such a perfect heritage LO!!! You look so adorable next to your sisters!!! I love what you did with the butterfly's and I love the colour palette too!
Three of my siblings standing with me outside my grandmother's house in Trinidad, 1950. I am only 1 year + 8 months younger than my sister, standing beside me, but so much shorter. As an adult she was only 3" taller than I am. I had fun with this LO, once I decided on what papers to use. Yes, the beads were hard to work with - they kept shifting when I tried to tack them down. The yellow glitter on the die cut butterflies turned green against the black edge on the wings; "quick, improvise", I thought, so I added green gems to the butterflies, LOL. What else could I do? THANKS to all who leave a comment for me as time and circumstance does not allow me to thank everyone individually. TFL - Fran
