Give a Cheer
Last December I made two calendars for two very wonderful scrappers whom I met thru scrapjazz and this site. These gals are true angels to me and am deeply touched by their acts of kindness and friendship. Wish I could visit with them, but because there is such a distance, I decided to bring a little bit of the Midwest to them. This is the calendar I made for Lauri D.
Yes, I actually did this on two calendars!! Hey - its part of the upper Midwest. LOL!! This is my husband and I and, believe it or not, we truly are Packer fans (and now stockholders). Last year my husband's nephew had the SB party in Eau Claire, WI and we dressed up as two of the Packers' defensive players. Had a blast with the costumes! Fun party too. The GB paper is actually from a scrapbooking kit from the NFL! I was estatic to find it at my JoAnn's store. I was hyperventilating as I was cutting the ppr because I'm a hoarder and didn't want to part with it, but .... these pages were for my wonderful friends, so I did it anyway. (breath breath) LOL! These were very fun to make. The flowers are from my stash and the branches were made using Flower Soft (Earth is the color).
