-I'll Be Back Tomorrow With A Better 'Daytime' Photo

Journaling: Week 3:
Sunday started so bright and clear that we decided to take the Outlander for a little drive down to McDonalds and get us a couple Big Breakfasts. David had received a $10 gift card from my sister for Christmas so our breakfast was technically on her – thanks Sis! During the drive we realized another very cool part of our Outlander called the “Panorama Roof”. Basically it's a non-opening sunroof that covers the entire top of the car itself. Talk about a room with a view…our room moves! When you can recline the seats down and sky-watch thru your cars roof you feel a bit spoiled. I actually sat in the Outlander and took photos of the clouds while David took down the outside Christmas decorations. We switched a little later as I took down the decorations inside the house while he relaxed and watched some sports on the TV. We caught up on some recorded show, watched a chic flick (Failure To Launch) AND a guy movie (Conan The Barbarian) before our Sunday came to an end.
Monday was a very exciting day for me. It was the first time I got to drive the Outlander all by myself! I am ok with admitting that I was so nervous driving it but the newness of the car actually intimidated me! My nerves were calmed just as quickly as the heated seat warmed up my behind and I was feeling like a princess. Now don't think badly of me as I still love our Camry but the Outlander just has that certain spark that makes it the favorite. I drove extremely slow and safe both to and from work, then passed my time in my scrapbooking room while I waited for David to get home. When he did arrive home it was to me preparing to watch “The Bachelor” and surprisingly he joined me on the sectional to watch. We both couldn't help but to laugh the entire episode at the ridiculous drama that filled the show. David enjoyed making fun of the people (both the Bachelor himself AND the potential women) while I just enjoyed having David with me. Good luck finding a guy like mine girls!
Tuesday started off very stressful for me. I had to open my store so it was rise and shine at 4:50am. I got dressed and ready in plenty of time and at 5:30am I kissed David and headed to work. When I walked up to the store door I encountered a serious problem; I didn't have my store keys! With the new car and us taking turns driving them David had taken the Camry the day before and neither of us had thought of transferring the work keys to the Outlander. I let my boss know and sped home. Good news is, I only live 8 minutes from work! I got thru the work day without any further problems besides me worrying about potential repercussions from opening the store late. They are real sticklers at my work about being on time. On my way home the sky decided that rain was needed below so my pretty snowy yard quickly disappeared in the grey drizzle. I found a good movie to pass the time and soon “Message In A Bottle” had my eyes emitting a drizzle of their own. I love love stories no matter how much they make me cry! David used a marathon of “The Big Bang Theory” to make me cry from laughter instead and the stressful start was erased by the wonderful finish.
Ah Wednesday…if your name is Andrea then it's day off time! My poor David still has one more work day to go before he can make the same claim as I can today. I always find little things to make the time pass on my days off but God decided to help me on this one by giving me some “outside” inspiration. He filled the sky with millions of white flakes and my yard was suddenly beautifully snow filled again! Sweets loves snow as much as I do so I got myself bundled up and took her outside for some play time. It's so fun to watch her leap through the snow, to see her snow mustaches from sniffing the ground, to realize the way her black fur compliments the white of the snow. I don't really have to do anything but take pictures! David made it safely home with the help of the four wheel drive and we enjoyed our night even more because we knew tomorrow was a full day together!
Thursday was a typical day off together until David went and surprised me. He decided to make me my favorite cake in the whole world – carrot cake with cream cheese icing! I rewarded his sweet gesture by giving him a much needed haircut. One good deeds deserves another, right? Though he made the cake for me I made sure that he got to enjoy some of it as well and it was VERY tasty. As always the days roll by so fast and before we wanted to admit it was time to prepare for bed as I had to open my store in the morning and 5:00am would be here in no time.
