Oh Betty!!!This is so adorable! great idea with tinting the pic to match... and love how you backed the punched edge with the green paper...it makes it POP!
Awww...this is just too cute! Love how you've tinted the photos...and the hand cut blooms are fab...must have taken a while too! You even managed to use one of the busy prints as a background...I have SO much trouble using backgrounds like that...but on this it looks awesome!!
This is my niece's sweet baby girl, Maggie. (Maggie is my sister Susan's (sgoetter) granddaughter. These pics were made at a family reunion that we had back in November. Maggie was so, so cute in her little paisley outfit that her mom made and she was perfectly content entertaining herself out on grandma's back porch.
The design in based on a CTMH sketch. In the original photos, Maggie's outfit is red, green and black, so I tinted the pics pink to match these pps and added the white border, then cut with deckle scissors. PPs are by BG. Punched border by Martha Stewart. Flower stamps are CTMH, stamped on green pp and then I inked the tips with pink and added some doodling. Letters are handcut and stamped with bg stamps. The "M" is Tim Holtz grungeboard, painted brown, then white, then sanded to bring out the swirls. The heart is from Girl's Paperie. I added green bling to flower centers. Then I added some sheer ribbon and lots of doodles. Thanks so much for looking!
