I have had tons of requests asking how to make the paper rose on top of the hat box that I made so here you go! :)
#3 Pund out five 1 1/2 inch circles to use as petals. Chalk one side of each circle going from darkest to lightest as you go from the edge to the center of the circle. Then using a Q-tip, slightly turn the edges of each circle upward. The darkest edge will end up being the center of your petal so that is the edge that should be rolled up the tightest. (See step #5 for example)
